This is Opal. She is a young village mix who had a tough time before she came to the big city. The first few days she would not walk anywhere and had to be carried. Once that was over, she then decided that the kennel was not what she liked, so she tore that up. All the while, she has been afraid of fast movements and big hand movements and really life itself for a while. Hope Opal has come a long way and is now playing with toys in the toybox. She follows our big Siberian ar ound and does everything he does. She has started to get zoomies on the days of no walks. She is a champ walking on a leash - no pulling and the tips of her ears and tail all bob. She has met children and likes little girls best - little boys are too fast. The one thing that she can't get over is her dislike of riding in a car. She will not get in a car on her own. She would love a calm home (with a little girl would be a big bonus).
